ROMAN FLASK IN HIGHLY IRIDESCENT GLASS WITH A JANUS HEAD
Very rare Roman anthropomorphic glass vase featuring a double Janus head.
A blown-molded body with two similar heads, each with a chubby face, dimpled chin, and curly hair; a cylindrical neck with a long collar and an everted lip.
The bottle is covered with a highly iridescent, rainbow-toned oxidation layer.
Around the 2nd/3rd century AD.
