Very good conditionThe Ban Chiang archaeological site is a large prehistoric earthen mound located in the Ban Chiang sub-district, Nong Han district, Udon Thani province, in northeastern Thailand.
It is an oval-shaped mound, formed by human habitation, measuring 500 meters by 1,350 meters and eight meters high. The site was discovered in 1966.
It has since been extensively excavated, and the remains studied by Thai and international researchers. The objects discovered there date from 5000 BC to the 1st millennium BC for the most recent.
