Rare Christian oil lamp in sigillata pottery, decorated with a rooster.
Oblong reservoir, wide channel with straight edges, open to the disc, two symmetrical bands decorated with long palm fronds. The handle is solid, triangular, and sloping backward. A channel with straight edges connects to the disc. The disc is decorated with a rooster.
The ring base is connected to the handle by a rib, the whole forming a patera shape. Below the base, in the center, are two recessed circles.Dimensions: length 13.2 cm - width 7.8 cm
