BABYLONIAN SEAL
Circular seal made of white stone dating from the third / second millennium BC.
The seal is inscribed on both sides; it reveals a scene depicting a stylized ibex galloping above the stars on one side and around the stars on the other side.
Paleo-Babylonian period, 3rd - 2nd millennium BC
Diameter 1.9 cm - thickness 0.9 cm.
Pierced lengthwise to be worn as a pendant
